Justin Jun
Justin Jun grew up in West Virginia, where he discovered his passion for soccer playing locally. Driven to compete at higher levels, he regularly traveled to Ohio and later moved to Georgia to play for elite youth teams. While in Georgia, he had the opportunity to train with the Sporting Lisbon Academy in Portugal and played for the Region 3 ODP team, competing in Italy.
At just 15, Justin moved to Arizona to join the Real Salt Lake Academy residency program, one of the top youth development programs in the country. During his time at RSL, he earned an opportunity to play for Waldhof Mannheim U19 in Germany’s U19 Bundesliga, making the team and nearly signing a professional contract—until a torn ACL sidelined him for two years.
After a challenging recovery, Justin returned to the game, playing for Marshall University while studying Exercise Science. He later transferred to Thomas University, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Rehabilitation Studies. During college, he also coached youth teams at Thomasville Area Soccer Association and Brookwood Middle School, while playing semi-professionally in the USL2 and NPSL during the summers.
Following graduation, Justin continued his dual path of playing and coaching. In Florida, he coached youth soccer with Warner Soccer/ASG who now competes in the MLS NEXT and worked in sports performance at Titus Sports Academy. He later moved to Colorado, where he coached sports performance at Impact Sports Performance and worked as a personal trainer at Life Time Fitness, while playing semi-professionally for Peak XI FC. His persistence paid off when he signed a professional contract with Michigan Stars FC. During his time with Michigan Stars, he also created artificial intelligence models for fitness at Outlier.
Returning to Peak XI, Justin earned 2024 NISA Nation West Regional Final Best XI honors and helped the team capture the 2025 The League for Clubs Mountain Premier Championship as a captain. He also competed in the 2025 NISA Pro Cup, finishing third overall after Peak XI received an invitation to the professional tournament.
Growing up in a state with limited opportunities and later facing a career-threatening ACL injury while pursuing his first professional contract—Justin experienced firsthand how challenging it can be for talented players to find opportunities and how easily potential can be derailed without the right support. These experiences inspired him to create JSA, to provide pathways both domestically and internationally and to teach that setbacks and adversity do not define your future. He wants players to understand that, with the right mindset and guidance, they can overcome obstacles and achieve their goals—just as he did after his injury and challenges pursuing a professional career.

Justin specializes in movement fluidity with the ball, helping players develop exceptional control, on-the-ball intuition, and technical creativity.
